My first taste of this deliciousness all started with a coincidence.  I was watching a movie that this wonderful liquid appeared in.  At this time it was the first time that I had ever seen or heard of Absinth.  I couldn’t stop wondering about that drink I saw, not even after the movie was over.  The rest of the night I spent doing research, trying to find out what it was they were drinking. It didn’t take long for me to find out what it was, a search here a search there and I found the secret world of Absinth.  After reading pages and pages of the history and filling my brain full of all the information I could find, I couldn’t wait until I could get my hands on some and give it a try myself. My luck must have been with me the next night because while I was on the phone with one of my friends I over heard a person in the background say something about Absinth, so I had to ask. When I asked my friend if I had heard correctly surprisingly she said yes. Immediately I asked if I could join the party and headed over there right away. As soon as I arrived there I noticed they already finished one bottle, right then I knew it must be a very good drink.  Soon after that I finally poured my first 3/4 cup of Absinth and had that sugar on the spoon and the flame ready for the ritual.  The sugar started to bubble then the spoon hit the bottom of that glass and the louching began.  Then all the glasses were raised and tapped together then tilted back and emptied.  The taste was great and I couldn’t wait to have another.  While all of this was going on in my head I couldn’t believe that I just found out that this existed and I’m already drinking it.  After all that happened I came to the conclusion that this would have to be my new favorite drink. The next step was just getting my hands on a bottle for myself.  Now I have bottle on the way and I can’t wait to pour the first glass.  Thank You Sebor!!!!
